The buyer and the ticket holder may request the resale of a ticket at the exact purchase price, according to methods and times established by the Organizer and advertised in the event page on the website. ??The function, if provided and active, is available within the purchase order.
The resale procedure can be made from the specific RESALE area within the purchase order, which is available in the MY Account section.
If the ticket was purchased online, both the purchaser of the ticket and the person whose legal name is printed on the single ticket can request the resale. In this second case, the ticket must first be TRANSFERRED to the person whose name is on the ticket, who, by law, also has to be registered on BOXOL.it.
Please note: in case of a home delivered physical ticket in which the label “TITOLO DI ACCESSO IN FORMA DIGITALE" is NOT shown on the ticket, it will be necessary to send back the ticket via post within 3 working days from the date of the resale request in order to officialize the request.?The registered letter must be addressed to BOXOL.it - Via A. Finelli, 1 – cap 40126 Bologna (BO).
BOXOL.it is in no way responsible for non-receipt.
If the resale is successful, the face value of the ticket (purchase price net of commissions) will be paid to the seller, by crediting the original payment instrument or by crediting the indicated IBAN.
In the event of a bank transfer, the refund will be completed not later than 15th day of the month following the one in which the resale was completed.
If the ticket is not repurchased within the terms indicated for each event, it will be available to the applicant in electronic format or delivered at the box office according to the event promoter.
Timeframes and methods of the Resale are established by the organizer according to methods and times established by the organizer of each event and advertised on the purchasing website.
The transfer is necessary if the ticket holder (other than the purchaser) wishes to carry out the name change or resale procedure.
It is possible to request the transfer of one or more tickets purchased by a registered user to another user registered on BOXOL.IT. The tickets for which the transfer is requested will be made unavailable in the account of the person requesting it and will only become available in the account of the recipient user.
The ticket transfer is necessary if the person whose legal name is on the ticket (if different than the buyer) wants to carry out the name change or resale procedure. The transfer is carried out from the appropriate TICKET TRANSFER area within the purchase order, which is available in the MY Account section.
Please note that once the transfer has been made, it will not be possible to cancel the operation and that it only possible to carry out ONE transfer procedure per ticket.

The law on Secondary Ticketing, also called the "Battelli Law", from the name of its first proponent, is an amendment to the Budget Law no. 145 of 30 December 2018, created to counter the proliferation of sales of higher-priced tickets through unofficial channels and websites ("Secondary Ticketing phenomenon”).
The Revenue Agency published (on June 27, 2019) a provision that contains the implementing measures regarding the sale or any other form of placement of tickets, pursuant to Article 1, paragraphs 545-bis and following, of the Law 11 December 2016, n. 232, introduced by article 1, paragraph 1100, of Law no. 145, and the Decree of the Ministery of Economy and Finance of the 12th of March 2018, as well as changes to the rules relating to automated ticketing systems.
To prevent the purchase of tickets by automatic programs, the law establishes:
- that each user, throughout the purchase, passes the CAPTCHA check for all events that take place in venues with a capacity of up to 1000 seats.
- that, in order to purchase tickets on official online ticketing sites (for events with a capacity of over 1000 seats), each user must necessarily be registered with the indication of name, surname, date and place of birth, e-mail address, mobile number and identified by OTP validation via SMS of their mobile phone number.
- that, for events with a capacity of over 1000 seats, each user can purchase up to a maximum of 10 tickets in total per event
- that, for events in venues with a capacity of more than 5,000 seats, each issued ticket must be personalized and the correct full name of the ticket user is mandatory. The legislation also establishes the personal recognition of the participant in the event through effective controls and mechanisms. On the day of the event, to access, a valid identity document will therefore also be required to verify the correctness of the name on the ticket. If the data don’t match, the ticket loses its validity and access to the event will not be allowed.
Not all entertainment activities are subject to this legislation. For example, pop music concerts are, while opera, symphonic and chamber performances, theatre, jazz, ballet, dance, contemporary circus and sporting events, in which a specific discipline applies are excluded.
